Lemon Toast Rounds

Ingredients
- 1 stick Butter
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- ¼ cup Lemon Juice
- Zest of One Lemon
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- Bread (country white bread, sliced potato bread or sliced baguettes)
Instructions
- Melt Butter then add Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, Salt and Pepper and blend together.
- Brush lemon butter mixture on Bread of choice. Cut into 1½" circles for canapé rounds or trim crust and cut into triangles for toast points or leave baguette rounds for crostini.
- Place lemon-butter brushed breads on a baking sheet and toast in a 350℉ oven until golden. Use immediately or let cool for later use. Do not store warm, let toasts cool completely before placing in an air-tight container.
