Lemon Toast Rounds

A must have on your cocktail party menu. So simple and so versatile.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice
  • Zest of One Lemon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • Bread (country white bread, sliced potato bread or sliced baguettes)

Instructions
 

  • Melt Butter then add Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, Salt and Pepper and blend together.
  • Brush lemon butter mixture on Bread of choice. Cut into 1½" circles for canapé rounds or trim crust and cut into triangles for toast points or leave baguette rounds for crostini.
  • Place lemon-butter brushed breads on a baking sheet and toast in a 350℉ oven until golden. Use immediately or let cool for later use. Do not store warm, let toasts cool completely before placing in an air-tight container.
