Lemon Toast Rounds
A must have on your cocktail party menu. So simple and so versatile.

- 1 stick Butter
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- ¼ cup Lemon Juice
- Zest of One Lemon
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- Bread (country white bread, sliced potato bread or sliced baguettes)
Melt Butter then add Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, Salt and Pepper and blend together.
Brush lemon butter mixture on Bread of choice. Cut into 1½" circles for canapé rounds or trim crust and cut into triangles for toast points or leave baguette rounds for crostini.
Place lemon-butter brushed breads on a baking sheet and toast in a 350℉ oven until golden. Use immediately or let cool for later use. Do not store warm, let toasts cool completely before placing in an air-tight container.
