Ingredients
Shrimp
- Shrimp (amount based on your portion preference - 21-26 count are a perfect cocktail size)
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 Lemon (cut in half)
- 2 tbsp White Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
Cocktail Sauce
- 2 cups Catsup
- Zest & Juice of One Lemon
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp Horseradish (more if you like it spicy)
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 pinch Sugar
Instructions
Shrimp
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add Bay Leaves, Lemon, White Vinegar, Sugar, Old Bay Seasoning. Add Shrimp and cook until pink outside and firm white inside (approximately 2-3 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water. Refrigerate until cold. Serve with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.
Cocktail Sauce
- Mix together Catsup, Lemon Zest and Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce, Horseradish, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder and Sugar. Refrigerate until ready to use.
