Sesame Chicken Satay

This will most likely become your go-to hors d'oeuvre. It is always a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Catsup
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp White Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Hot Water
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Pickled Ginger (sushi ginger)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 tbsp White Sesame Seeds

Instructions
 

  • Cut Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts into strips.
  • Make Marinade. In mixing bowl place Peanut Butter, Soy Sauce, Catsup, Brown Sugar, White Rice Vinegar, Hot Water, Pickled Ginger, Cumin, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Sesame Oil and White Sesame Seeds and mix well.
  • Pour marinade over chicken strips and let marinate several hours or overnight.
  • Soak skewers in hot water (6"-8" skewers are perfect for this hors d'oeuvre). Skewer chicken.
  • Place on hot lightly oiled grill for approximately 3 minutes on each side.
