Classic Herb Stuffing
This is a classic stuffing that you can add just about anything you like from nuts and dried fruit to any combination of pork sausage or chicken livers.

Ingredients
- 1 lb Butter
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3-4 Diced Onions (large onions)
- 1 head Chopped Celery
- 1 tbsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Black Pepper
- 2 packages Pepperidge Farm Cubed Stuffing
- 3 cups Vegetable Stock (you can use chicken stock if you don't have any vegetarians dining)
Instructions
- In large sauté pan place Butter, Olive Oil, Onions, Celery, Salt and Black Pepper. Cover and simmer until onions and celery are tender.
- Remove from heat and place into a large mixing bowl then add Pepperidge Farm Cubed Stuffing. Stir to blend.
- Add Vegetable Stock and stir to blend. Add more stock if mixture is too dry. If mixture is a little wet just bake for a few extra minutes.
- Place stuffing in a buttered baking dish and bake in a 350℉ oven for 30-40 minutes or until set and hot throughout.

Optional Additions
Be creative and add anything you like such as:
- Walnuts
- Cranberries
- Raisins
- Chestnuts
- Cooked Chopped Meat
- Cooked Ground Pork
- Sautéed Chicken Livers
