Classic Herb Stuffing
This is a classic stuffing that you can add just about anything you like from nuts and dried fruit to any combination of pork sausage or chicken livers.

Ingredients
1
lb
Butter
3
tbsp
Olive Oil
3-4
Diced Onions
(large onions)
1
head
Chopped Celery
1
tbsp
Salt
½
tbsp
Black Pepper
2
packages
Pepperidge Farm Cubed Stuffing
3
cups
Vegetable Stock
(you can use chicken stock if you don't have any vegetarians dining)
Instructions
In large sauté pan place Butter, Olive Oil, Onions, Celery, Salt and Black Pepper. Cover and simmer until onions and celery are tender.
Remove from heat and place into a large mixing bowl then add Pepperidge Farm Cubed Stuffing. Stir to blend.
Add Vegetable Stock and stir to blend. Add more stock if mixture is too dry. If mixture is a little wet just bake for a few extra minutes.
Place stuffing in a buttered baking dish and bake in a 350℉ oven for 30-40 minutes or until set and hot throughout.
