Butter Greens w/ Apples - Walnuts - Cider Vinaigrette

Ingredients
- Butter Greens (or use Bibb or Boston lettuce)
- 1 Granny Smith Apple (washed, peeled, cored and sliced)
- 1 Red Delicious Apple (washed, peeled, cored and sliced)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- ½ cup Walnuts
Dressing
- ½ cup Apple Cider
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ cup Olive Oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Sugar
Instructions
- Wash and dry Butter Greens.
- Toss cut apples with Lemon Juice, Salt and Sugar.
- In medium hot sauté pan place Walnuts. shaking pan toast walnuts for 2 minutes to enhance their flavor.
Dressing
- In mixing bowl place Apple Cider, Apple Cider Vinegar, Olive Oil, Salt, Black Pepper and Sugar. Blend dressing well.
Assemble
- Place salad greens, apples and walnuts in a serving bowl or platter and drizzle with dressing.
