Cheddar & Apple Canapé

Ingredients
- 2-3 Apples (use your favorite)
- ½ stick Butter
- Zest & Juice of One Lemon
- 1 tbsp Flour (you can also use rice flour)
- ½ cup Beer
- 1 lb Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Toast Points (or black bread squares)
Instructions
- Wash, peel, core and grate Apples.
- In sauté pan place Butter and grated Apples.
- When apples are just softened add Lemon Zest and Lemon Juice. Stir to blend.
- Add Flour (you can also use rice flour), stir to blend and cook.
- Add Beer and stir to blend.
- Add Shredded Cheddar Cheese, reduce heat and stir until a creamy consistency is achieved.
- Spoon warm apple/cheese mixture onto toast points or black bread squares or place mixture in a bowl and serve with crackers and breads.
