Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 cups Flour
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 3 tsp Softened Butter
- 2 Beaten Eggs
- 3 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups Slivered Almonds (or 2 cups pistachio nuts + 2 cups dried cranberries)
- Egg Wash
Instructions
- Blend Sugar, Brown Sugar, Flour, Cinnamon, Baking Powder and Softened Butter.
- Add Beaten Eggs and Pure Vanilla Extract. Blend.
- Add either Slivered Almonds OR Pistachio Nuts and Dried Cranberries and blend.
- Blend and roll into 2-inch logs. Place on baking sheet – flatten slightly with a damp hand – brush with Egg Wash and bake in a 350℉ oven for 25-30 minutes. Let cool then slice logs into ¼-inch wide diagonal slices and place on baking sheet and bake in a 250℉ oven for 10-15 minutes or until desired texture.
