Apple Fritters
These fritters are so delicious and comforting that you won’t be able to make them fast enough. They are best eaten right from the pan but will keep in a warm oven until ready to serve.

Ingredients
- Pancake Batter (prepared separately)
- 3 Granny Smith Apples (peeled, cored and grated)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tbsp Flour
- Canola Oil
- Confectioners' Sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare Pancake Batter.
- Peel, core and grate Granny Smith Apples.
- Toss apples with Lemon Juice, Cinnamon, Salt and Flour.
- Add grated apples to pancake batter and let rest for 5 minutes before using.
- Heat skillet with 2 inches of canola oil and place spoonful of apple batter to oil.
- Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and dust with Confectioners' Sugar before serving.
Notes
These fritters are sensational as is, but a decadent drizzle of pure maple syrup and a little vanilla ice cream dusted with a little cinnamon and powdered sugar would certainly make this an irresistible dessert.
