Ingredients
- Tilapia Filets
- 4 Egg Whites
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ½ cup Flour
- ½ cup Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Chinese 5-Spice
- Hoisin Sauce
- Lemon Wedges
Instructions
- Clean and split Tilapia Filets in half lengthwise.
- Prepare egg wash mixing Egg Whites, Water and Lemon Juice.
- Prepare flour mixture mixing Flour, Cornstarch and Chinese 5-Spice.
- Dip filet strip in egg wash then into flour mixture. Place in hot skillet with cooking oil. Fry 2-3 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden. Serve with a drizzle of hoisin sauce and wedge of lemon.
