Grilled Balsamic Portobello Mushroom w/ Caramelized Onion

Ingredients
- 8 Portobello Mushrooms (one large mushroom per person)
Marinade
- ½ cup Olive Oil
- ¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
Sauté
- 3 Large Sliced Onions
- ¼ cup Additional Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Minced Garlic
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- ½ tsp Agave
Instructions
- Clean and dry Portobello Mushrooms.
Marinade
- Mix together Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Onion Powder and Garlic Powder.
- Pour marinade over mushrooms and let stand for at least one hour. Place mushrooms on a hot grill and cook about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Sauté
- In sauté pan place Onions, Olive Oil, Minced Garlic, Sea Salt and Agave. Cook over low heat until onions are golden brown and nicely caramelized.
- Place grilled mushroom on plate and top with caramelized onions.
