Classic Macaroni Salad

An all-American classic that makes any summer BBQ or picnic a hit.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Pasta (elbow is a favorite but any fun shape is fine)
  • 1 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¼ cup Finely Diced Celery
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

Instructions
 

  • In large pot of salted boiling water cook Pasta until al dente (about 1 minute less than box directions). Drain and cool.
  • Place cooled pasta into a large mixing bowl and add Mayonnaise, Salt, Black Pepper, Celery and Onion Powder. Mix to blend. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Optional Additions
1 lb Cooked Baby Shrimp (like our dear friend Loretta Pagano-Devine made)
1 cup Baby Frozen Peas
1 small can Drained and Flaked Tuna Fish
¼ cup Diced Pepper
½ cup Shredded Carrots
