Ingredients
- Chocolate Cake (prepared separately)
- Chocolate Mousse (prepared separately)
- 1 lb Dark Chocolate
- ΒΌ stick Butter
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Prepare Chocolate Cake using separate recipe.
- Prepare Chocolate Mousse using separate recipe.
Make Ganache
- In double boiler melt Dark Chocolate and Butter. Remove from heat and with an electric mixer beat in Heavy Cream and Pure Vanilla Extract. Beat until a shiny icing is formed. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set before using.
Assemble Cake
- Split cooled cake. Place mousse filling and top with layer of chocolate cake. Repeat.
- Spread ganache icing over cake. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
