Roasted Pecans
These are the perfect treats to have with cocktails or to give as hostess gifts.

Ingredients
- Nuts (I usually use cashews and pecans but any larger nut will do just fine)
- 2 Egg Whites (lightly beaten)
- 1 tbsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Place nuts in a mixing bowl and add Egg Whites, Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Sugar, Brown Sugar and Olive Oil. Toss well.
- Place single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet and roast in a 375℉ oven for 6-8 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Keep an eye on because they can burn very easily. Let cool completely before removing from pan.
