A lovely sauce for lamb meatball or lamb sliders or a feta cheese crostini. This is a great simple syrup glaze with fresh mint. Make extra because it is great on so much from savory to sweet and even cocktails.

Ingredients
- 3 cups Water
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 bunch Fresh Mint (leaves and stems - just rinse)
- Zest & Juice of One Lemon
Instructions
- In saucepan place Water, Sugar, Salt, Fresh Mint, and Lemon Zest and Lemon Juice. Bring to a boil then lower heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. Strain and let cool.
