Crab Rangoon

Ingredients
Filling
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- ½ bunch Scallion
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 8 oz Crabmeat
- Wonton Wrappers (store bought)
- 2 Egg Whites
Sweet Pepper Sauce
- ½ cup Water
- ¼ cup White Vinegar
- ¼ cup Sugar
- ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
Filling
- In processor blend Cream Cheese, Scallion and Sugar. Add and gently blend Crabmeat.
- Take wonton wrapper and brush with egg white wash. Place a tablespoon of mixture on wonton and fold in half to make a triangle then fold the two end points to the center point to form wonton rangoon.
- Deep fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Place on paper towel to drain and serve as is or with sweet pepper sauce.
Sweet Pepper Sauce
- In saucepan bring Water, White Vinegar Sugar and Red Pepper Flakes to a boil. Let boil on low flame until sauce reduces by half.
