Kids will eat salad if you make it fun. Place a variety of toppings and dressings on side for the children to be creative. If they make it they will be more likely to eat it.

Ingredients
  

  • Crispy Romaine Lettuce (cut into small manageable sizes)

Topping & Dressing Ideas

  • Baby Grape Tomatoes
  • Cucumber Slices
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Broccoli Florets
  • Sliced Peppers (red, green and yellow)
  • Chickpeas (or any beans they like)
  • Shredded Cheese(s)
  • Ranch Dressing
  • Creamy French Dressing
  • Italian Dressing

Instructions
 

  • Wash, dry and place in a large salad bowl with kid-friendly tongs.
  • Place a variety of toppings and dressings on the side for children to be creative.
  • Possible toppings and dressings include Baby Grape Tomatoes, Cucumber Slices, Carrots, Celery, Broccoli Florets, Sliced Peppers, Chickpeas (or any beans they like), Shredded Cheeses, Ranch Dressing, Creamy French Dressing and Italian Dressing. Or anything your child and their friends like and will eat.
