Louisiana Crab Salad

This is a wonderful salad that is worth the time and effort.

Ingredients
  

Cook Fish

  • 10 lbs King Crab Legs
  • 3-5 lbs Crawfish
  • 1 can Beer
  • 4 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ Fresh Lemon

Mixing Bowl

  • 1 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Horseradish
  • ¼ tsp Crushed Black Pepper
  • 4 stalks Diced Celery

Instructions
 

Cook Fish

  • In a large stock pot place King Crab Legs and Crawfish and cover with cold water. Add Beer, Old Bay Seasoning, Cayenne Pepper and Lemon.
  • Bring to a boil and turn off heat. Cover pot and rest for 5 minutes. Reserve ¼ cup of boiling liquid and then drain fish. Take shells off crawfish and crack king crabs to remove meat.

Mixing Bowl

  • Place meat in a mixing bowl and add Mayonnaise, Louisiana Hot Sauce, Old Bay Seasoning, Lemon Juice, Cayenne Pepper, Horseradish, Black Pepper and Diced Celery.
  • Blend well and chill until ready to serve.
