Blackened Flank Steak

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs Flank Steak
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Zest & Juice of Two Limes

Blackening Dry Rub

  • 3 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Dried Thyme
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Clean and trim Flank Steak. Marinate at least 3 minutes in Olive Oil and Lemon Zest & Lemon Juice.

Blackening Dry Rub

  • In mixing bowl place Paprika, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Thyme, Cayenne Pepper, Salt and Pepper and mix well.
  • Coat marinated meat with dry rub and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Place meat on hot grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with fresh lime wedges.
