Creamy Vidalia Onions

These sweet onions make a perfect side dish to any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 Large Vidalia Onions
  • ½ stick Butter
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp White Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Peel and thinly slice Vidalia Onions.
  • Place Butter and Olive Oil in a saucepan. When butter is melted, add sliced onions and cook on low heat until soft, tender and translucent. Then add Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add Heavy Cream, Salt, White Pepper and cook until sauce thickens and coats onions nicely.
