Chocolate Mousse Trifle

This dessert is such a crowd pleaser and so easy to make. You can use store-bought items or make them from scratch - either way is a hit.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ sheet pan Brownies (prepared separately)
  • 4 cups Chocolate Mousse (prepared separately)
  • 4 cups Whipped Cream (prepared separately)
  • 1 cup Toffee Pieces (prepared separately)
  • 1 Shaved Chocolate (shaving from chocolate candy bar)
  • Chocolate Wafer Crumbs (Halloween option)
  • Gummy Worms (Halloween option)

Instructions
 

  • In a tall clear glass container place a layer of cut up Brownie pieces then top with a layer of Chocolate Mousse then a layer of Toffee bits then a layer of Whipped Cream. Repeat until all ingredients are used finishing with Whipped Cream and a sprinkle of Shaved Chocolate. For Halloween, finish with Chocolate Wafer Crumbs for dirt and Gummy Worms coming out of the dirt.
  • Refrigerate at least 2-3 hours before serving. This dessert can also be made in individual bowls for an elegant finish to any dinner party.
