Tomato-Mayo Tea Sandwiches
These are classic southern tea sandwiches which are so easy and sooooo delicious.

Ingredients
- Roma Tomatoes (washed and sliced into ¼" thick circles - I use these because they are the perfect size)
- 1 pinch Salt (sea or pink salt)
- Country White Bread
- Hellmann's Mayonnaise
Instructions
- Arrange soft Country White Bread on a work surface. Spread one side of bread with Mayonnaise.
- With a cookie cutter roughly the size of the tomato slices (approximately 2") cut bread into rounds. Top each circle with a tomato slice and sprinkle with a tiny pinch of sea or pink salt.
- Serve as is as a canapé or cover with another circle of bread and you have a lovely and delicate tea sandwich.
- If you like garnish with a piece or two of micro greens or a few dices of chive or any fresh herb you prefer. These lovely hors d'oeuvres are even great with a paper-thin slice of red onion on top.
