Scalloped Potatoes
Such a luxurious and delicious way to serve potatoes.

- 5 lbs Russet or Yukon Gold Potatoes (peeled, rinsed, sliced ¼-inch thick)
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 clove Minced Garlic
- ½ stick Butter
- 1 tbsp Kosher Salt
- ¼ cup Flour
- 1 cup Shredded Gruyere Cheese
- ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Place sliced Potatoes in saucepan and cover with Milk (2 cups or so).
Add Garlic, Butter and Kosher salt and bring to a gentle boil and simmer for about 8-10 minutes or until potatoes or just fork tender but not soft.
Remove potatoes with a slotted spoon leaving hot milk in saucepan and place potato slices in buttered baking pan.
Into hot milk whisk Flour and cook until sauce thickens.
Add Shredded Gruyere Cheese and Grated Parmesan Cheese.
Pour sauce over potatoes and bake in a 350℉ for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
