Cheddar & Apple Canapé

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 Apples (use your favorite)
  • ½ stick Butter
  • Zest & Juice of One Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Flour (you can also use rice flour)
  • ½ cup Beer
  • 1 lb Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Toast Points (or black bread squares)

Instructions
 

  • Wash, peel, core and grate Apples.
  • In sauté pan place Butter and grated Apples.
  • When apples are just softened add Lemon Zest and Lemon Juice. Stir to blend.
  • Add Flour (you can also use rice flour), stir to blend and cook.
  • Add Beer and stir to blend.
  • Add Shredded Cheddar Cheese, reduce heat and stir until a creamy consistency is achieved.
  • Spoon warm apple/cheese mixture onto toast points or black bread squares or place mixture in a bowl and serve with crackers and breads.
