Bacon & Egg Strata
This is a very simple strata perfect for a New Year's Eve after midnight breakfast or any Sunday morning brunch.
This egg dish is great served with roasted potatoes, coffee and juice.

Bacon

Eggs
2
cups
Heavy Cream
4
oz
Softened Cream Cheese
2
tbsp
Hellmann's Mayonnaise
½
tsp
Salt
½
tsp
Black Pepper
¼
stick
Melted Butter
2-3
cups
Day-old Bread
(broken into pieces)

Cheddar Cheese
(optional)
Instructions
Place Bacon on a baking sheet and bake in a 350℉ oven until browned. Let cool then cut into small pieces.
In mixing bowl place Eggs, Heavy Cream, Softened Cream Cheese, Mayonnaise, Salt and Black Pepper and mix well.
In a large casserole dish brush with Melted Butter
Place in casserole dish Day-old Bread broken into pieces and add cooked bacon and optional Cheddar Cheese.
Pour egg mixture over bread and cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours.
Bake in a 350℉ oven for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
