Shrimp Mousse on Heart-shaped Toasts
This is always a big hit. It is simple yet so delicious. This has been one of my sister's signature hors d'oeuvres for decades. It isn't a party without it.

- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 can Campbell's Tomato Soup
- 2 cans Tiny Shrimp (drained & rinsed) (or 8oz cooked & diced shrimp)
- ½ cup Finely Diced Celery
- ¼ cup Finely Diced Onion
- 1 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise
- 1 packet Non-flavored Gelatin (softened with ¼ cup warm water)
In saucepan melt Cream Cheese and Tomato Soup.
In mixing bowl place Shrimp, Celery, Onion and Mayonnaise and blend well.
Add Gelatin to tomato soup mixture and blend well.
Pour tomato soup mixture into shrimp salad mixture and blend. Refrigerate overnight or at least 3-4 hours to set and let flavors develop.
Serve with crackers, breads, breadsticks or in cucumber cups as an elegant hors d'oeuvre and for this romantic occasion place on heart-shaped toasts.
