Shortbread Cookies

A Scottish treat that everyone loves.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Softened Butter
  • ½ cup Light Brown Sugar
  • cups All Purpose Flour

Instructions
 

  • In processor blend Butter, Light Brown Sugar and Flour to form dough.
  • Roll dough on lightly floured surface to about ¼-½" thickness. Cut into desired size and shapes with cookie cutter. Place on parchment lined sheet pans spaced evenly apart. Cook in 350℉ oven about 12 minutes or until just golden around edges.

Notes

Variation
Dip half of the baked cookie in melted chocolate then in chopped walnuts. Let cool and set before packing.
