Sauerkraut w/ Bacon

This sauerkraut is really special but omit the bacon if you have vegetarians.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Olive OIl
  • 2 Finely Diced Onion
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • ½ lb Diced Raw Bacon
  • 1 bag / can Sauerkraut (rinsed and drained)
  • 2 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Sauté Olive Oil, Onions, Garlic and Bacon until onions are caramelized and bacon is crispy.
  • Drain some of the bacon fat then add Sauerkraut and Dark Brown Sugar. Toss well and heat through.
