Roasted Nuts
These are the perfect treats to have with cocktails or to give as hostess gifts.

- 1-2 lbs Nuts (I usually use cashews, pecans and almonds but any larger nut will do just fine)
- 2 Egg Whites (lightly beaten)
- 1 tbsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Place desired Nuts in a mixing bowl.
Add lightly beaten Egg Whites, Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Sugar, Brown Sugar and Olive Oil. Toss well.
Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and roast in a 375℉ oven for 6-8 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Keep an eye on them because they can burn very easily. Let cool completely before removing from pan.
