Roasted Nuts

These are the perfect treats to have with cocktails or to give as hostess gifts.

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 lbs Nuts (I usually use cashews, pecans and almonds but any larger nut will do just fine)
  • 2 Egg Whites (lightly beaten)
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Place desired Nuts in a mixing bowl.
  • Add lightly beaten Egg Whites, Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Sugar, Brown Sugar and Olive Oil. Toss well.
  • Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and roast in a 375℉ oven for 6-8 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Keep an eye on them because they can burn very easily. Let cool completely before removing from pan.
