Petit Grilled Beemster & Black Forest Ham Sandwiches

These grilled cheese sandwich hors d'oeuvres are so delicious whether paired with a chilled champagne or a great beer.

Ingredients
  

  • Mayonnaise (1 tsp per sandwich)
  • Dijon Mustard (½ tsp per sandwich)
  • Black Forest Ham (1-2 slices per sandwich)
  • Beemster Cheese (or Swiss or cheddar; 1-2 slices per sandwich)
  • Butter

Instructions
 

  • On a bread of your choice spread the inside of the bread with Mayonnaise and Dijon Mustard.
  • Place Black Forest Ham and Beemster Cheese on one side then cover.
  • Slightly butter the outside of the breads. Place on a hot grill and toast until golden and cheese is melted.
  • Cut into bite size pieces for hors d'oeuvres or in half for a great lunch.
