Mashed Sweet Potatoes
A perfect side to any fall dish and a must have at Thanksgiving.

- 6-8 Sweet Potatoes or Yams
- 1 stick Butter
- ¼ cup Packed Brown Sugar (use a little extra if you like them sweeter)
- 3 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Crushed Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Wash Sweet Potatoes and bake in 350℉ oven until tender - approximately 45 minutes. You can use the microwave which should take about 10 minutes - or you can use canned yams that have been drained and mashed.
In saucepan melt Butter and add Brown Sugar, Pure Maple Syrup, Salt, Crushed Black Pepper, Cinnamon and Pure Vanilla Extract.
Pour butter mixture over mashed sweet potatoes and blend. Place in a buttered baking dish and bake in 350℉ oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and slightly browned around edges.
